Oral history extracts now available online
Extracts of a series of oral history interviews are now available in an online exhibition on The Baring Archive's website.
The extracts give an insight into what it was like to work at Barings from 1940 through to the 1990s. Topics covered include the Second World War, recruitment, computerisation, globalisation and the 1995 crisis.
The extracts available were drawn from An Oral History of Barings, commissioned in 2009 by The Baring Archive and undertaken in partnership with National Life Stories at The British Library. The project was completed in 2012.
